What Is the ACT?
The ACT is a standardized exam used for admission into colleges and universities. It is administered several times each year. Administration dates can be found HERE. Exam registration and cost are the responsibility of the student and family. The ACT consists of four tests:
English: 75 questions; 45 minutes Math: 60 questions; 60 minutes Reading: 40 questions; 35 minutes Science: 40 questions; 35 minutes Optional Essay: One Prompt; 40 minutes Montana School Day ACT: The Montana School Day ACT takes place in the spring semester of a student's junior year and is free to all eligible students. Scores earned are accepted by colleges, universities, NCAA, and all scholarships. Bozeman High School handles the registration process for this exam. |
